Where Did The Worms Go?

Judith Martin and Sandy Livermore worked in the English garden and Sandy tended the worms in the worm bin. Well—she would have tended them if they had been there. It seems they are all gone—without even saying goodbye. Where? Sandy says she will bring in a new colony. In the meantime Tim Bower has the all purpose compost bin at the right mix and going strong. He did find some rose clippings in it and it should be noted that rose clippings potentially carry too many diseases and should not be put in with regular compost.
