Sharron Etheredge did her magic with coffee, weeded and tied up several plants that were reaching for the ground instead of the sky. Carol Johnson planted more succulents and Tiffany Willfert planted succulents in the Whimsy bed before watering the seedlings in the annual beds. Not much seems to be making an appearance there, so. she may have to reseed. Ideas? Betty Clark has the fuchsia bed looking wonderful and is turning her hand to putting peppers into bed #11 next.
Lorraine Butler worked with the shrub roses/hardy geraniums and in the herb beds. She and her daughter painted rocks to identify various herbs and it gives a charming look to the bed. Jim Rodman and Dorene Tetrault worked with some of the plants left from the plant sale. Some will be stored in our heeling beds; some will be used in other MG gardens. Ray Etheredge helped with the plant sale plants and ran some errands to secure parts for the hoses. Tom Tucker worked on the hose connections as well, and it seems that at least on one the end will have to be entirely replaced .You can get a complete shower just by standing within 5 feet of the faucet when it is connected and the water is on.
Roxanne Moye tended the plants in and around the butterfly habitat.
