Rascally Weeds

Carol Harcharik went on to join Sharron Etheredge in eliminating the rascally weeds that seem to have made appearances wherever you looked. Judith Martin cut back errant plants in several of the beds and Marcia said her primary emphasis was on General gardening. Let’s hear it for the General!
John Mikesell gave some guidance and direction in a couple of areas, and then did some work on the path in the native plants trail.
Our premier cut-up, Ray Etheredge, pruned the grapes, blueberries and climbing rose on the front trellis. Several of us looked into pushing the mulch away from the base of the roses, but it was frozen solid!!! Later in the morning Anne was able to remove some of the mulch, and Ray cut back a rose or two. Hopefully we will be able to do the bulk of the uncovering next week.
