Marcia Pauley and Jim Rodman checked out the contents of the far shed. They found 2 roto-tillers which are destined to be refurbished or put to some other good use, and made room for the lawnmower which was donated last year. Jim also thinned the radishes which are the first of the plantings to make an appearance. I was charmed by his very esthetic configuration.
Tiffany Wilfert worked on the annuals beds and the whimsy bed and brought out several garden ornaments which she will be using to accent the plantings. In the whimsy bed she discovered the pink flowering stalks of our umbrella plant Darmera peltata. So unusual looking without the dramatic frilled 2 foot diameter leaves that Debra assured us will show up soon.
