The park, located on Tracyton Boulevard at the intersection of Fairgrounds Road, features a pond, WSU Master Gardener's demonstration garden with a butterfly garden green house, a wide grassy area, picnic tables, and 200-foot stretch of beach.
We are staying ahead of theWascallyWaccoons, but just barely! They harvested more ears of corn, so Jim Rodman and Kathy Hawkins have put up a string webbing barrier of sorts around the more mature ears. We’ll see how that works! But even the netted frame over the strawberries did not deter the four leggedwascalsfrom completely relieving us of all of the ripe strawberries.
