50 Pounds of Produce

Jim also added turnips and a huge bag of tomatoes to the largesse. I guess raccoons don’t like turnips and the strawberry pickin’ two legged critters thought the fabulous heirloom Black Krim tomatoes, which are a rather strange color and oddly shaped, were not something they wanted. They also left the delicious Sungold cherry tomatoes alone—probably thought from the golden color that they were not “ripe”. It seems to pay to plant unusual varieties. All together we had 50 pounds of produce today!
